Mulan - Day5 #WriteBravely

The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of them all - Mulan

Broken with no hope
Adversity loomed so large
Young heart filled with fear

No one to turn to
With feet planted firm she rose
What else could she do

A fragile flower
In that moment starts to bloom
Shining through, her sun.

I am taking part in the Write Tribe Festival of Words

For the June 2018 festival I thought I would write some haiku and give this neglected blog a little love. Trying to bring back the poetry mojo.

  4. What else could she do
Yes, there is nothing else that one can do. The other option is to give up. But that would be like not living anymore.

    1. Giving up should not be an option and we should always encourage those who are down to stand up again.
